Sports!

Hi Bloggers,

If you didn’t know already, I am very big on sports. All my life I have been part of a team sport, I currently play soccer, basketball, and volleyball. I am going to be going to high school next year and I am considering to try track and field out. I would I actually would want to try air riflery because all my life I did things that have to do with fast movements and fast thinking but I think that I would be something fun to try.

I also would love to photography in my free time. I always wanted to do photography and I think it would be a good compliment to doing sports.

That’s it for this post! see you next month!!!

List of List’s Project!

I know that 2019 just started but I have already chosen my favorite project is called “The List of List’s Project”. For this project we had to answer questions like “if you didn’t have to worry about a job in the future, what would you do?” or “what are three things you would like to learn more about?”.

The reason why I liked this project so much was that you had to actually do the job you choose. So, for example, I choose photography, so for three days, I had to do what a photographer would do. I thought that it was going to be fairly easy but when I started to get into it, it became really hard especially with the weird lighting er have in Hawaii.

I ‘ve always wanted to become a photographer because I think that it’s easier for me to express my feelings through pictures instead of words. When it comes to writing I am not the best at it so photography is a perfect way to go. Photography also teaches you a lot about patience and teamwork, because you need to wait for that one perfect time to take the picture. Even editing your pictures might take you one hour. So photography takes a lot of time a dedication. And if you want to see my presentation here’s the link → List of List’s Project!

First Post of 2019!

I can’t believe it is already 2019!!! Last year went by way to fast and this is the year that I will finally be graduating middle school!

I wanted to tell you guys some of my 2018 highlights! So, here they are:

1One of the best things that I did this year was going to Japan with my family! I actually wrote a post about it so here is the link if you want to hear all about it.

2. The second highlight would be going to Washington with my soccer team! It was really fun because we did most things as a team and we got to learn a lot about each other. And we placed 2nd place out of 10 in our U14 G division. We didn’t get the outcome we wanted but we had a lot of fun playing the mainland teams!

Those were my top two highlights of 2018, not saying that those were the only good memory, but there were too many to put here!

Hope everyone has an amazing 2019!!!

Week 10! Peer Audit!!!

This is the audit I will be doing with my mom about my blog!

What were your first impressions of this blog?

Your cover photo is pretty!  I was very impressed — this is the first time I’m looking at it.

What captured your attention?

Besides the cover photo, the image in the middle also captured my attention because it looked like a personalized logo.

What distracted you on the blog?

I was distracted by the duplicate stories in different categories so I had to ask Ally for clarification on how the stories are categorized.

What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?

I would suggest adding more photos to grab people’s attention.

That is it for now bloggers! see you later!!

I used links, slide presentation, and compfight or pictures in my blogs,

What are your plans for your blog now? Will you keep posting?

My plans for my blog are to keep posting almost every week!

Week 9!!!!!! Coding!

This week I  was a little stuck on what to do because I’m very inexperienced when it comes to coding. But surprisingly I did figure it out!

This week I choose to try one of the activities on Hour of Code! To me, these activities were a little hard because I’m not very experienced or interested in this. But for people that are they would love this. For this review, I played the Flappy Brid game, where you got to control the bird as it goes through the obstacles.

Flappy Bird Game:

  • I liked the game but it was sometimes a little confusing.
  • A tip from me: read all of the directions on the screen.
  • I really like the game because you could make it the way you like it.
    • you could change the sounds and background
  • I was very interactive and fun to do even if you aren’t as interested as some people

Okay! That’s it for this week! Hopefully, you have fun!

Week 8!-Paper Christmas Tree!

Hello Bloggers!

As you know it is finally December!! And that means for some of you, snow!! Unfortunately, here in Hawaii, we don’t have any snow. But that doesn’t mean we don’t drink Hot Chocolate or wear warm clothes! Anyways! Today I will be showing you something I made! And I think you will really like it!

 PC: me!

As you can see, I made an origami Christmas Tree!!  I didn’t know how to make one until I watched this video! I liked this video because it was very instructional and easy to follow. It has a visual on what to do and also words at the top if you didn’t understand. This was a very fun thing to make because it doesn’t take a lot of materials but it is still very cute! And yes I know that my tree is not green but honestly, it can be any color and it looks great!

I would recommend this for 3rd graders and up because there were some parts that could be challenging for smaller kids. This is a good activity to do at a family party because everyone’s tree will come out different and unique.

Please make sure you have an adult with you because this craft does involve cutting things! Be safe and have fun!

Week 7! FREE!!!!~Top 2 Things I Love About The Holiday Season!!

This will be a post about the top three things I love about the Holiday/Thanksgiving season!! Because honestly, in my opinion, I love Christmas! Not only do you get presents, but you also get to have quality time with your family and friends. I’m not lucky enough to see snow on Christmas but I bet it is really fun having a white Chrismas!! So these are the top 2 things I LOVE about the Holidays!!

Alright! Number one! I love the decorations!! When every store says “Happy Holidays” in green, red, brown, or orange, I love it! Even though it doesn’t snow here in Hawaii, I feel like it gets everyone in spirit! Even better than that CHRISTMAS TRESS!! They make everything better, they smell, the look and the fun of decorating them with people you love!

Second, the FOODDD!! When I think of the holiday season in Hawaii I think of cooler, not colder, nights where it’s really nice to drink a big cup of hot chocolate! Not only the drinks but the actual food! Like pumpkin spice, eggnog, or fruitcakes! But if I’m really being honest this is really the best part of all holidays!
