The Best Book I Ever Read

The best book  I’ve ever read was the Dairy of a Wimpy Kid stories! The book is written by Jeff Kinney. The main characters in the book are Greg Heffley, Rodrik Heftly, Manny, Rowley, Susan, and Frank Heffley. Rowley is Greg’s best friend, Rowley lets Greg boss him around a lot. Greg’s mom, Susan Heffley is very enthusiastic about reading and no video games, but Greg  is very much aginst that. I like these books because it is exactly like me and my crazy family. I think other people would enjoy these books because they are funny and about a middle school boy and his thoughts about school.

My Personification Story!

Hi Bloggers!😁

I think my best piece of work is my Personification Story. You job is too guess what I am and tell me in the comments!!

Every morning I wake up and I have my usual breakfast of small bugs and the little pieces of food left in Ms. Kojima’s classroom. What do you usually enjoy for breakfast? I am very small but I love everyone. I am a unique creature but I have a really big heart, but sometimes I don’t like it because I expect too much out of people then they aren’t what I expected and I get hurt. I love to  Ms. Kojima do her work. Here is a little bit about me.

Every day I see Ms. Kojima do her work, and it is actually very interesting because all of the students work is different. Even it can get a little crazy when the 7th graders come in, but they are really nice and really funny. There is this one girl that is researching me, and every day she walks over and inspects me and moves me all around and looks at me very closely.

It is very lonely at night when nobody’s there but I always play charades with Tom the TV and Charlie, Ms. Kojima’s chair. I live on Ms. Kojima’s file cabinet by her desk, so that’s how I watch her do work. I always dreamed of going somewhere else that was a medal and where I could still play charades with Tom and Charlie. I am very good at holding papers to the file cabinet and being a good companion to my other magnet friends, even though I don’t think they like me because I am so much bigger than them, and they think that I will devour them.

I hate that my neighbors don’t like me because I am so much bigger than them but I try to be nice to them. Holly the UH magnet is very grouchy and she hates everyone so I don’t take it personally. Courtney the clip magnet is very antisocial so we don’t really talk and if we do all we say to each other is a good morning. I am very caring to them and I try to be nice to everyone, but my best friends are Tom and Charlie. Those are my crazy friends!!

I am a very small object in Ms. Kojima’s classroom but I think I have the biggest heart. I am pretty close to all of my friends (except the other magnets) and I hope I am the first person they come to see if they need a shoulder to cry on, a voice to laugh with them, or just need a friend. I feel really close to them but I am not sure if they feel the same. My friends are crazy, unique, and sometimes mean but I still love them. I hope one day I fulfill my dream but until then I will watch Ms. Kojima do her work from the file cabinet.

That’s my story, what’s yours??

My Favorite Trip!

My favorite trip was when my family and I went to Japan.  This trip was in 2011. We went to Hokkaido, and we saw snow!! We went in the winter and it was so cold. We went to a zoo and I saw the giraffes eating snow!!

My Favorite part of the trip was when we went to the Hokkaido Snow Festival. It was awesome!! I saw a lot of cool ice sculptors like an ice castle and a hawk! Even though it was so cold I had a great time. I would recommend going here with your family.

I would totally recommend this for families because it is very fun to look at all of the sculptors. Sometimes you could even watch them build one! These buildings are so big some took about 15 people!! When you go to japan I hope you can experience the amazing things I did. Where was your favorite trip?

SBC Week 7: Digital Footprint

Dear Bloggers,

This week I will be doing activity 3.

I think having no digital footprint at all is better than having a bad one. I think this because if you are applying for a job and they see your digital footprint and it is bad they might not hire you. Also if some crazy person is trying to track you and they need to know what you look like they can just search you up and they have all of your information. If you have a bad digital footprint people might think you are a bad person and not like you. This is my opinion of not having a digital footprint or not having one at all.

Spirt Week At HMS!

On Monday (4-24) it was pajama and wacky hair day! It was really fun to see all of the elementary school students dress up in their pajamas. No one really made wacky hair, but a lot of people had really cute pajamas. It was funny to see the teachers dress up too. I liked Monday because it was funny to see what everyone wears to sleep!

On Tuesday it was Animated Tuesday! Everyone dressed up as their favorite animated character. A lot of people dressed up that had to do with Pokémon.  Another really famous one was Minnie and Mickey.  A teacher dressed up as a nerd, and another dressed up as a movie character. Everyone’s costume showed their own personality.

On Wednesday it was Wacky Wednesday! A teacher and his three sons wore two different shoes and different socks. Some wore their shirt backwards and inside out. It was also really funny to see everyone’s wacky hair! I love Wacky Wednesday.

On Thursday it was Sports Thursday! I love Sports Thursday! This is my favorite day because I love sports and I like soccer and my friends wore volleyball and baseball uniforms. The teachers wore their collage uniforms or their kids school uniforms. I like to see what other sports other students play, that’s why I like Sports Thursday!

Peanut Butter Cheesecake Cups

Hey Bloggers! This week I will be showing you how to make Peanut Butter Cheesecake Cups

1/4 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

Directions:

  1. Line 10 muffin cups with paper liners.
  2. Stir cookie crumbs and butter together in a bowl; press into the prepared muffin cups. Refrigerate chocolate crusts until chilled, about 15 minutes.
  3. Beat peanut butter, cream cheese, and confectioners’ sugar together in a bowl until smooth. Spoon peanut mixture over the chocolate crusts; refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes.
  4. Pour cream into a microwave-safe bowl and heat in microwave until just before boiling, about 2 minutes. Stir chocolate into cream to melt. Refrigerate ganache until completely chilled, about 1 hour.
  5. Beat ganache using an electric mixer until whipped; spread evenly over peanut butter mixture layer.
  6. Freeze cheesecakes until solid, about 1 hour.

Activity 3: My Dad – Tyler Helbush

Hey Bloggers this week I will be doing Activity 4.  My Dad will be helping me write this post about our family farm on the Big Island.

Above the town of Pahala on the Big Island of Hawaii, my family has a small farm. It has been in our family for over 125 years. Over that time it has been used to grow things like sugar cane and coffee.  The sugar cane is no longer there, but we still grow coffee. Most of the property though is used as pasture land for cattle.

When Ally goes to the farm, she likes to get dirty. She likes to feed the cattle, and helps to feed and groom our horse. She also likes to drive the farm equipment all over the farm.  This is what we like to do at my family farm.

My Poem

Hi Bloggers,

I will be doing Activity 4: Be Creative. I will be making a poem for global issues.

Hunger is a problem in the world,

We can help by being part of the solution.

By donating a few dollars will help a lot.

It could feed a family for a week.

They seek for food everyday.

If we keep the people healthy,

The world will be healthy.

Hunger just part of the problem,

please help me make the world healthy and happy.
